JOB DESCRIPTION:
Perform and oversee general accounting operations by entering, controlling and verifying financial transactions.

RESPONSIBILITIES to include but are not limited to:

• Record and reconcile financial transactions, including: AR, AP, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
• Process customer invoices, payments and past due notices
• Process vendor invoices and expense reports
• Assist in month-end and year-end processes, including customer invoicing, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Assist in regulatory compliance and reporting, including tax filings and audits
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in implementing changes to increase efficiency

REQUIREMENTS:

• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel)
• 2 + years of relevant experience
