SUMMARY: Cable Assembler complete duties such as assembling components, reading instructions, labeling wires, inspecting final products, adhering to safety practices, using testing equipment, and keeping the working area clean.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: No experience required with cable assemblies. The ideal candidate would like working with their hands, be mechanically inclined, and able to understand drawings. On the job training will be provided, and our experienced team members are happy to help answer questions. Once trained, the candidate will work independently during the day. Growth opportunities for the right candidate who picks up information quickly and is a good team player.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Use of tape measure

• Reading and interpret work tickets

• Comfortable using various hand tools

• Assembler, Inspection, packaging

• Mechanical Assembling

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build cable assemblies to work instructions

• Install various hardware and components into enclosure

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work

• Attaches ends of wires to components, plugs, or connectors

• Tests wiring continuity with continuity tester

• Uses cable testing equipment to troubleshoot problems
