Job Summary

Kitty Hawk Kites is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead dynamic team working to expand customer acquisition and retention, deliver world-class content on a variety of channels, and most importantly, to help teach the world to fly. The company has a multi-modal marketing strategy which relies on numerous, impactful touchpoints with our customers across interpersonal interaction, static advertising, multi-media content, and targeted digital advertising. The Marketing Manager will be the leader of the marketing team, conversant in all aspects of the marketing strategy and the backbone of the department. The successful person in this role will be able to lead a small, highly collaborative, and remarkably industrious marketing team, and will help the company grow in ways within and beyond this job description. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Marketing Manager will be involved in setting and executing the marketing strategy and managing the marketing team, including but not limited to the following:

• Budgeting
• Systems Management
• Third-party relationship Management
• Events
• Email Marketing & CRM management
• Digital Advertising, PPC campaigns, Retargeting, and Organic Social
• Website Maintenance and SEO

Education, & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred
• A minimum of 8 years marketing experience, with at least 2 years of managerial experience
• Experience in e-commerce and retail preferred
• Experience with Google (analytics, ads, business) and Meta (business, creator studio) required
• Experience with CRM software required (Hubspot preferred)
• Demonstrated proficiency on digital platforms (e.g. certification) preferred
